Interlude: [respite, interval, pause] an intervening episode, period, space. A period of time or different activity between longer periods, processes or events: episode or interval.
Interlude is a node along a processional pathway connecting greater Copenhagen to the parks and nature found within Kastellet. A period of pause, the pavilion serves as a layered compression zone for users and provides a moment of silence between the chaos of the city and the peaceful nature of the site.
